Sweet Kicks

Sophie is starting to kick all the time. At first she would just kick every now and then. Dylan was the first person to feel her, then Ethan. Every time I told Jeramy to come and feel her kick, she would stop. Eventually he had his turn feelling her kick. It's amazing how it feels when a baby is kicking inside. She always lets me know that she is there.

Research says that she can hear sounds now.  I'm sure she gets an ear full in the evening listening to Ethan talk and act silly. Every day he talks to my belly and says hello and I love you baby sister. He says the funniest things to her.

She also has to listen to me teach all day.  She seems to kick a lot when I'm at reading groups with my kids from school. She gets to listen to my Kindergarten students read everyday for an hr. I have 21 kids and I try to listen to them all read every day. Maybe she will come out reading! LOL!

This evening when Jeramy came home from work, he came over to say hi to her. He was talking to her and making funny noises  and she kicked him twice.

She is only about 8in and weights about a pound and she already lets us know she is here with us.  I can't wait to me her!

We love her very much...Thank you god for letting me feel my sweet baby girl's kicks.

Sophie's New Things

Just wanted to share some of the things I bought Sophie. Since all we have are boy books, I had to buy her a few girly books at our school book fair.  I also had to buy her the cutest burp clothes from Charming Charlie! If you are a mom of a girl and you have never been to Charmin Charlies you must go!

My really good friend, Kelli, bought Sophie the cutiest zebra print/pink diaper bag, bows, clips, and some really cute outfits! Thanks Ms. Kelli, We love the special gifts.
Zebra print/hot pink is the theme for Sophie's room.

St. Patrick's Day

Each year on St. Patrick's Day, we get to celebrate my g-ma and her twin's birthday.  This year they are turning 81.  We had a special b-day dinner at Carabas.  My special mom made the yummy cake! I'm so excited that we get to share this day with them. My g-ma mean a lot to me! I LOVE YOU G-MA!

Baby Girl: Sophie

Just some of our ultrasound pictures of our Baby Girl, Sophie. This was at 20 wks, March 2. She is growing healthy and an estimated weight of about 11oz. She is tiny but was very active during the ultrasound. The boys were able to come in and see her show off. They were both very excited to see that they are going to have a Baby Sister.

She is already sticking out her tongue at her brothers.

Her tiny hand and  a foot.

Cleaning Today....

Today the boys and I spent the day cleaning the house and cleaning out our rooms. Not a fun day but this week we are going to start switching rooms around so we can start working on Sophie's room.  Tomorrow we are off to IKEA to find some new things for the boys room. They are going to share a room and we are going to make our extra room a play room for all their toys. We will see how it works. In a couple of years we are going to have to find a bigger house!

18 Weeks

Here are some pictures of me at 18 weeks. I know your going to say....You do not even look pregnant, but I promise I am and believe me I feel like I am. I am doing a lot better since I'm in my second trimester.
Ethan already loves his BABY SISTER. He comes up to my belly and says Hello Baby Sister and gives her kisses.
He was trying to give her a piece of candy in this picture.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Today we all went to the St. Patrick's Day Parade in DT. We had a lot of fun. Something different to do with the family. This was Ethan's first parade and he was terrified of the clowns, but liked the fact that there were people throwing candy and beads at us. Dylan had fun taking lots of pictures with my camera and trying to catch the candy and beads.
My mom, Richard, Monica(sister-in-law) and my nephew, and neice joined us at the parade.

Ethan and Daddy were trying to blow bubbles.

Spring Break Time!

I am so looking forward to Spring Break! Relaxing and spending time with the boys are on the top of my list. I am also going to register at Babies R-Us this week, which I am so excited. We are also going to start rearranging rooms and getting ready for our baby girl. Hopefully the weather will be good. I will post some pictures of our spring break later on in the week.

Why I am starting this?

I have decided to create a new blog. First, we are expecting our 3rd child, so the old blog name did not fit our family anymore. Second, the blog I tried to create last week was all screwed up by something weird. That is technology for you. And last, because I wanted to share with family and friends how happy our family is. We are all so busy with life that it's hard to see everybody and this will give everybody an in sight to our family life.

I hope you enjoy the future blogs about our family! Please feel free to leave comments.
